Short Stories on a Long Theme

“It’s right there in the cener of your heart, isn’t it? And you do feel its presence, don’t you? Maybe it doesn’t arise until you are asleep, slowly seeping through and permeating the walls erected by consciousness, or perhaps it arrives to meet you only intermittently, during rare moments of stillness, crashing through the dilapidated gates we all hide behind, the hope being that we won’t be hurt – won’t be seen. And so up goes the screen, pulling us into a reality where connectivity is measured, contrived, safe.”
