Although the main aim of the catalogue was primarily its informative and documentary function, we approached it for the most part as a pictorial publication. The visual style of the festival permeates and dominates the entire book, including recurring questions focused on the culture of streaming platforms. However, some of the questions are chosen less confrontationally: they simply ask about the viewer's experience (e. g. Do you want to talk about it?) and&nbsp;encourage him to further introspection, this time after the festival ended. We unified a large number of photographs taken during the festival by various authors with a filter simulating the projected image. 3 cover versions, burst binding, 256 pages. <img width="4167" In a world dominated by streaming platforms, the viewer crafts his own cinematic experience. Visual identity and campaign of the 37th FAMUFEST Film Festival focus on the contemporary viewer and force him to ponder the nature of present-day film production. As the viewer tackles the responsibility for his own choices, he is reimagined as an editor of his own spectrum. When considering the direction of campaign communication, we predominantly opted for photography and widely used sans-serif subtitles. The viewer himself is portrayed in fragments only so as to represent humanity universally; his identity is never disclosed. We screened festival films on the viewer's body; captured details embodied the possibility of a spectrum perception that emphasises an emotional range the medium of film evokes. Working with a large amount of material, as well as digital and printed output, was an important dimension of the project. As a result of that, we created a number of short videos and photographs for social media, including manipulated images of real places in Prague with a festival logo or a question. alienation is counterintuitive. Its forces are mysterious, yet manifestations painfully palpable. The complexity of being seen is in tandem with the anxiety of being overlooked. Culturally rooted in the fabric of our everyday lives, it finds its shape and form in crowds and behind glass. The loneliness of a large city is an emotional map with loose knots and heightened sensations. In such an environment, how do we find a connection? Short Stories on a Long Theme (2024) ponder human disconnection in the contemporary world and our fundamental need to belong through colour theory. Combining geometric studio still-lifes and documentary photographs that have been simplified to a form, the series lyrically investigates feelings of alienation and solitariness. Although in close proximity, loneliness transforms human subjects into shapes, movements, shadows, and reflections to guide the viewer's gaze and simultaneously support his meaning-making process. The series contemplates not only the relationships of colour and their harmonies but also social interactions.
